Onyx Scientific provides a comprehensive custom synthesis service.

We offer mg to Kg synthesis of new compounds, APIs, intermediates, reference compounds, focussed libraries, stable labelled compounds, competitor compounds, scaffolds, building blocks, analogues, drug metabolites, impurities and many more. Our predominantly PhD qualified workforce have completed thousands of synthesis projects. We normally deliver more compound than is ordered at no extra cost to our customer and deliver where possible on time, every time.

Our chemists have developed a reputation for successfully tackling even the hardest custom synthesis project. Our facilities are modern and the chemists are supported by a team of analysts operating the latest equipment. Our custom synthesis service comes with weekly updates, final reports and ordered amounts of the compound under strict confidentiality. Final reports contain sufficient information for you to readily repeat the chemistry in house if needed.

A diverse range of equipment is employed in the custom synthesis from automated parallel reactors to dedicated 50 litre reaction vessels plus a diverse range of more specialised kit.

Our process development group is lead by scientists with many years experience of API development, scale-up and production. We evaluate the most critical areas during scale up in order to produce robust, scalable and reproducible processes, capable of synthesising materials cost effectively.
