PhD & Experienced Graduate Synthetic Chemists

We are looking for synthetic organic chemists to work in our laboratories in Sunderland. The work involves practical organic synthesis on scales ranging from milligrams to kilos. Projects vary from small scale research to process development and GMP scale up.

Candidates should ideally possess a PhD in organic chemistry and have an excellent knowledge of synthesis. In addition to a range of practical skills an ability to interpret a wide array of analytical information will be required. You need to be self-motivated and able to run projects with minimal supervision. Good inter-personal skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

25 days holiday a year plus bank holidays and this increases with long service. The Company doesn't work shifts so normal hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

The Chemists work is challenging and interesting but never boring or repetitive.
